Welcome to Chapel Porth Beach…

Chapel Porth beach is located on the St Agnes heritage coastline and it a wonderful place.
NOTE: I have added this to the list because this beach and cove is worth a visit for the golden sand and beautiful views. It is a surfers beach more than anything with clear clean water and very large waves.
I have seen this beach on a very very calm day and launching is possible. Although these days of calm water at this spot are so few and far between unless you are “crazy” I would just bring the family here for a surf, swim, and picnic on the sand.

Beautiful place:
Anyway, this place has some amazing views of the surrounding area.

There is a car park located at the bottom of the hill by the beach.

The car park has a cafe serving hot and cold food all day.

There are also clean toilets that are free on-site.
Parking is free for heritage site members. It’s all very cheap for everyone else.
The car park is very small and fills up quickly early in the morning, so don’t be late turning up to get a spot.
There are also limited spaces on the road down to the beach.
You could drop of your stuff and then go park up.
Again these spaces are taken fast so you need to be early and quick to get yourself a parking space.
The beach its self is a little rocky to start, but these are very smooth and easy to walk on

This then opens out to a very wide golden bar of sand for everyone to play.
NOTE: There are lifeguards on duty all day due to the regular large waves found here.
NOTE: BE CAREFUL OF THE TIDE AS THE BEACHES AROUND THE ROCKS VERY QUICKLY BECOMES CUT OF WITH THE TIDE AND YOU WILL GET TRAPPED!!!
Wide golden sands…

To sum up, Everyone should come here for a day to take in the fresh air and beautiful surroundings.
A bit of food and a swim of surf perhaps as well.
